I don't know, it seems like if we were somehow banned, we would have gotten some sort of message. I've never been banned, but I'm pretty sure most people that get banned know they are.

True. Its just weird how only specific accounts are affected.
I'd hate to be that annoying guy, but could really use some sort of update on what's going on (if anything is). I mean, I can get over not being able to play the beta (though I seriously want to), but not having access to my PSN account is a bigger deal. Even if its just some random person telling me "We're looking in to it".

I was finally able to sign back into my main account this morning. I'm not sure what the issue was but all seems to be good for me now.
It works for me too. I gotta admit though, im a little worried about trying the beta again. Lol

I was able to play last night and early morning however receiving the authentication fail error now and concerning the playstation store thing, just tried it and it kinda soft froze my ps3 my wallpaper was showing and i could access the power off/controller off menu through the ps button.

Ok happening to me as well. I'm in US, have only the one account, and I played yesterday. Can't get past the title screen to make a new character.
I got this and it only appears on accounts that are not the same account you downloaded the beta from. So if you have a friend or family member who wants to try the beta on their own account it won't work.
