Is there any point of creating a new character after you have created your first
Due to the game having no classes like support role medic etc. I would like to know if you would create a new character after the first one you have created because i see no point as the whole system is classless that i do find good i'd like to hear your thoughts on if they should implement a class role or not? And if there is a point of creating another character.

I think the only reason to create another character would be for the sole reason of having something different to look at while you played.

It'd be cool if each race/sex/class has some kind of passive bonus to start... like Vets gain AR levels faster or Outlaws find more scrip in loot drops..stuff like that...but there's nothing other than looks.

There are several different roles to choose from, but with the way the classes are built, I'm not sure there is a whole lot of difference between them.

I am actually wondering the same myself. I made 4 characters (outlaw/blur, veteran/overcharge etc.) because I thought the gun bonuses i.e. [2] Survivalist, only applied to specific classes. However, if there is no difference except how they look I can't see the point in making extra characters. So yeah, same boat here.

As of yet, I don't think so. Unless you have a ton of items that you want to keep, and are running out of inventory space, I suppose.

It doesn't? It's just collecting the attachments with the synergy title of "Survivalist"? Bleh...

Actually the ones with only a [2] bonus on them aren't by attachments. If both the weapons you have equipped in that loadout are "Survivalist" weapons, that's when they trigger.

Sledgehammer explained mods after the last live stream for us. :D Told us that neat little fact.

I'd have to say no. Sadly, characters aren't differentiated at all aside from the minimal amount of visual customization available during the character creation process.

Actually, this is not true. There are 2 different bonus that are listed as [2]. The first is Class name. These do indeed give their bonus only to the class of that name. His "Survivalist" is a good example. This and the starting outfits are the ONLY difference between character classes. The OTHER ones provide their bonus when you have both weapons equiped with that bonus. "Sawbones" is the only one of these I can think of off hand.
I have not experimented very muich with the second type, but I know for a fact that the [2] Class name bonus only works for that class. It might be possible that equiping 2 class synergys of the same type ALSO activates the synergy, if so I assume it is a bug. Some one over at Trion should do some tweeks to the GUI text so it better shows synergies and if they are active.
