The patches are going through the final verification process with Sony to make we dont get an instant crash/error like the PC/360 version. From what it sounds like on twitter from the offical Defiance game twitter page it could be up today or tomorrow.

its not hard to give a general timetable of release, or a BS excuse of why ours is delayed but 0% communication with the broken mechanics we have currently makes big clans lose interest fast.

While I'm not saying it's 100% anyones fault I'm having issues believing that Sony is the only entity at fault here regarding these patches considering the only game having this hard of a time getting a patch at the moment is this one. I've been getting a few patches showing up on my PS+ auto download list so I can't see Sony doing it for the hell of it.

Is it so much to ask for us to want someone from Trion to post and tell us what the hell is going on? Yes we ALL know about Sony's issues, HOWEVER just because WE know doesn't mean Trion has an excuse to not communicate with us.

Where is this twitter update of which people speak? All I see on @DefianceGame is a bunch of stuff about the PC/Xbox restart.

Honestly, imo, this is all they needed. I don't care about the specifics as long as they give us a little acknowledgment. That little tweet settled me restlessness down so I am good now. Now we just gotta hold them to what they said. "we will post more details in the coming days." Okay Trion, you got 3 days to give us more details, Don't let us down! :]

I'm not any side but all I can say is a) there were problems with PSN last week during rollouts meaning that it is possible the approval process is delayed and b) rollouts are pushed out every week (Tuesday for NA and Wednesday for EU). I understand the frustration with the delayed patch and to be honest I want it too. At the same time I also understand scheduling. What I would do (and am doing) is waiting until Tuesday for the patches to be pushed out.

Sony patches are not always "clean" so there is no reason why Defiance's patches shouldn't be pushed out as well. They just need to be pushed out on a weekly schedule.

You guys will probably keep complaining but at least I tried. :P
