Your first Orange

I have been playing the game a lot, one play through complete with all side missions complete. I have done a ton of exploring and have also done a lot of coop. I have yet to come across an orange(or legendary) item. Maybe I am missing something...
I was hoping to find out how everyone came across their orange or legendary weapons...

First Orange in Beta was a sweet Burst shotgun, loved that thing.

First and only orange since release has been an Infector that I hate.... (EGO 1009)

I have yet to come across an orange weapon myself yet some people have tons. Tell me your secrets...

I feel the same way crunchwrap. My shields aren't getting any better either. My ego is 964. I had a nice AR, purple I believe, then got kicked from the server while I was adding mod slots. It disappeared when I logged back on....

I have found 2 oranges. A shield, the Tachyon Fortifier IV EX (491 EGO); and a shotgun, the FRC Scattergun (624 EGO) both were from tier 3 lock boxes

i got 1 orange on a tier 4 lock box, it was a rocket launcher. JUNK!!!!

Got an orange bio grenade last night from a Tier 3 box, my ego was 900. I was about to believe oranges were as real as "the reedemer" under the November sub in UT :p
I probably bought 20 or so tier 3 before this 1st orange.

My first orange was one of those double-tap pistols. I can't remember the exact name, but I think you all know what I'm talking about. It was fire with "meh" bonuses. I got it from a tier 4 lockbox at EGO 300-400. Right now I'm only holding on to it for the pursuit.

I guess lock boxes are the way to go
