There will be hundreds, if not thousands, of people wanting assistance with their issues, no matter how small, and expecting their issue to be a number one priority. Just because you paid for the game, doesn't give you higher priority than everyone else that paid for it too.
This is a new MMO... its bound to be riddled with bugs and glitches, and its not unusual to expect prolonged, unexpected or unannounced downtime in the first few months. Additionally, you can't expect everything to be fixed with no downtime, it either stays broken with no downtime or vice versa.
Having been an online gamer since the era of dial-in MUDS, I can appreciate the frustration when things don't work, but you can't expect everything to just work straight out the gate. I remember years ago playing a MUD and having the server crash and losing months worth of gametime in a character that was simply deleted. While I didn't pay for the MUD, I still felt a sense of entitlement having donated so much of my time to the game world. Unfortunately, these issues come with the territory of new online games.
Also- if you're having issues with bugs/glitches submit a support request if there isn't already a question to answer your issue. If it still doesn't work, jump on live chat.
I submitted a support request that was unanswered, so I logged onto live chat last night, and it was solved within 10 minutes (including waiting time, and chatting to the support person). It was quick, easy and some of the best customer service I've had in an online game.
Edit- As a side note, has anyone started a community based news site? Something along the lines of a 'Camelot Herald' for Dark Age of Camelot, which is comprised of nothing but information on the front page apart from status and development updates? I know there is the official community blog, but it isn't updated too often.
