Yes it looks like a pretty fun game. Its a shame it is not coming out for ps3 and is only an xbox 360 exclusive. Jealous lol

Dont forget wich class you look at, as class 3 i believe is due first and is single /(maybe co-op) i believe.
While class 4 is the actual mmo.
Now if they take graphs and gameplay mechanics from all the footage wich is class 3 and make it into class4
i will be happy.
But when it comes to mmo's and zombieshooter/brawlers i have learned to wait,altough i must say the class 3 stuff even in alpha

June 5th is most probable release date for state of decay. Good sales will likely help this new developer to make an mmo version of state of decay.

I personally won't be buying this day one on xbox as i'll be way to invested in the last of us. I will most likely buy it as I really enjoy survival horror like DayZ and dead island. If we have to wait for DayZ standalone for another year why not have something that wants to be like it but not be like what shall not be named.
Didn't really like the look of it. A lot of my friends are getting it though. Will see what they think.
I'm definitely getting it. I love the unique aspects of it. Like collecting survivors, building compounds, and searching for supplies.

I just tried it out...wow. What a giant let down. The game has some cool ideas, but it falls flat in so many more. Firstly, the graphics are abysmal. They look like a late Xbox game; Seriously, this game looks only slightly better than GTA:SA. Usually I don't hold that against a game, but if I'm gonna be spending alot of time in the world, the world better actually look decent. Then there's the controls, which are again, awful; The camera controls are beyond clunky and there's no way to remap or even chose a different layout. You can't even modify the camera speed. Thing's like having to reload a gun from an inventory screen or (the one that made me laugh at how moronic this is) the fact that you can't swap items between characters. I looked all throughout the menu screen and couldn't find a single way to swap an item between characters. That means the only way to trade items between each other is go all the way back to a storage box, put the item in there, switch to the other character, and pull it out. That's just dumb. The cherry on this fail pie is the price tag. They actually expect me to pay $20 for this mess. As if!

I was sick about that for like an hour, but I got over it lol, n I'm having fun
Been playing this all day and I have to say, it is one of my favorite zombie games since L4D. The zombies are smart and fast. Scavenging for materials like medicine, guns, food and building materials as well as finding survivors is just an extra cherry on top of how great the game is. While the graphics are not that great, it is definately one of those games where you can say graphics don't matter and actually mean it cause it shows in the rest of the game the detail and effort they put into the gameplay mechanics and extra goodies do to. I would give it a solid 9/10. Once Class 4 is released and they do even more work to the game than and add the MMO part to it, If they game stays pretty much the same but just improved (have not found anything that needs imrpoving except maybe the graphics) this could be the best zombie survival game ever to be released on consoles.
Yeah the more I play of this game the more I get sucked in...

I am downloading it as we speak.
The Demo is good. The controls are kinda funny but you get used to them. The graphics are OK. Game idea is really good.
The only downside right now that i see (i've only played the demo) is the 30min Demo not to mention that it's pretty easy to find everything in a building. Usually the House, Tent, or Building type only contains 2 to 3 searchable locations for items. Also on that note everything is in limited amounts.
But from what i have been able to play in the demo so far it's pretty good for $20 game.
I might have to get it. It would be a nice distraction from Defiance
After the first slot glitch that came with Defi's patch yesterday I said "what the hell" and downloaded State of Decay. I completely love the game. I hope co-op comes as DLC (ala Scott Pilgrim arcade) later, but as it is, it works. After playing Defiance so much, the car controls seem crazy, and I get mad when there's no boost, but it's still a good game.
