level cap?

I saw in the IGN video that the level cap was in the hundreds... Can someone be a little more specific?

5000 was the last number we heard, AFAIK. Could change by release.

Ego Rating...yes its in the hundreds, but its not really a level system. the higher the Ego rating, the more perks you can unlock for you character.

NDA says nothing yet, but I think the soft cap has been theorized at like 5000 or so....saw that posted somewhere a day or two ago.

the closest this game has is an ego rating. its not like a traditional level system.

but the top ego rating is something around the 5,000 mark. but that will go up in time.

I think the level system is more like The Secret World. You learn ever skill/passive. But only get to choose X amount to have at a time.

jesbus christos! 5000? wow! that sounds huge compared to say, borderlands. Is that going to take forever to reach in hind sight?

ok let me it put it this way. Greg was saying in 1 live stream "we dont expect many, if any players to max out" and that will get added to as the game builds over the season.

Yeah, it might take a while to get, but you dont need to get there, you only need certain ego perks for your builds, and you might not even use all of them.
