Did the nerf to Infectors even happen?
Just wondering if any one konws what is up with the patch notes saying that infectors having reduces homing range and bug dmg but seem to kill people quicker now then befor. Played alot of pvp got the 1500 kils long ago and been having some doubts that the nerf to infectors is even in. The tool tip stats that it is but the bug dmg seems to be the same as befor. The old bug dmg was 172 and the new is 32 but the same amount of bugs that would kill you befor the patch is stilll the same after even lower now. Would love to hear what peoples experience is atm and if its just me

I notice more people using infectors, which would explain why it seems like they were not nerfed. I really can't tell if they were nerfed or not, but perhaps instead of "nerfing" infectory they are properly balancing them down slowly.

I know the homing ranges were reduced on some of them, not sure on damage because its kind of hard to track what damage they do, and i am pretty sure the bug damage done isnt shown at all, or recorded at events, but it sure adds up to fast kills at times

The homing range on all of them is 10-20. Any less and they'd be impossible to use effectively. The only one that is higher is the Immunizer, which is 40.

Yeh the range and bug damage got nerfed like hell, I actually find it super hard to use now.

The nerf to Homing for all models except the Immunizer is pretty damn noticeable. The gun stats for bug damage however remained unchanged. When I was leveling them up to 10 I personally couldn't tell much of a difference, but now that I'm done with that nonsense I couldn't care less.

Yeah it happened. But with all the damage hacks out there, it may not seem like it.

nah theres a bugs/exploits going on with them. some have posted about it in the pvp sections. after shotguns, they are the second most used now in pvp.

Because the damage is laughable (until a canker hits you or the bug catches you). In pvp your running around and see your getting hit but your shield/hp is barely ticking down, then WHAM a bug or four hit you and you fall over like someone creamed you with a bat to the temple.

Also shotguns are beloved because they have awesome burst damage in close quarters. Sawed off are 1shotting people from cloak (stealth), combat shotguns are fast action pellet guns that hurt from quantity over quality (though the slug shot versions are quality over quantity), and a pump action is just better damage than a combat shotgun. Not to mention reloading a shotgun does not require you to sit there fiddling with it for overly long except on sawed offs and chances are you are cloaked while doing that.

Ah, ok... so you are one of the idiots. I'm not sure you are aware... but the search feature is broken and does not work properly.
