IMO people who quick scope only have no skills as it is because you're trying to abuse Aim Assist. That's you're own fault.

I did notice a few times the aim assist kick in. Not whole lot, but I did notice it. Seems to happen when you closer to the target and not so much when firing from distance. I read somewhere in this thread that we will have the ability to disable it, so for me personally i'm done talking about it because it's no longer an issue.

In pvp you must manually aim. I have not seen any aim assist in pvp. Unless its a rocket launcher with lock on target!

Apologies, I was referring to PvE if you were responding to my comment. I have not played PvP, can anyone give an idea of how it plays?

What has this got to do with quick scoping?

Also your argument is completely and inherently flawed anyway.
"people who quick scope have no skills because they're abusing aim-assist"-> right. So why not take it out of the game?
You can't make an argument in favour of players having skills and support dramatic snap aim.
Also it will impact upon your experience because other players will be doing better than you in pve or pvp if you don't do it.

    SO GET RID OF IT.

It makes since cause this is MMO... and it would be awkard without it with all the targets popping up all the time

Now if there was cover based system then yea auto aim would not be really needed though

Maybe add an option for the tryhards if they don't want auto aim on

    Myst
At first I didn't notice the snap on aiming it wasn't until last..night? That I saw it but didn't matter too much as the raiders moved out of my line of sight anyway and were going all over the place.

Apparently, if someone doesn't want the game to do 75% of the work for them they're a tryhard.

It's a TPSMMO. The MMO part is right, the third person part is right.....but the shooter part is severely lacking. What in blazes is the point of a shooter that practically plays itself with the aiming aspect? Maybe we should let the game fire the weapons, too.

This is worse than when games spam quicktime events where you press a button or two and WATCH THE GAME DO EVERYTHING instead of you, the player! What's next? Games will automatically run to the next person on your radar while you sit and eat popcorn?

I only have a real problem with it when it's in the middle of hectic arkfalls, if theres an option to disable it during the full game i'd be very happy.
