I'd be interested in the ultimate if it came with a lifetime subscription. If not, meh; I'll just get the best digital edition.

    Not much longer now!

I'm interested in learning more about this "Ultimate Edition" and why it costs 150 dollars. I'd buy it though if it was worth it.

100 bucks for the PC Collectors edition is insane, there better be some serious stuff coming with that, that's pretty ambitious.

However I keep thinking that 100 or 150$ is too expensive for a game .... way to expensive ...

    neogeo AES games were $250

100 to 150 for special editions have been around for a while. Many big budget games have these different packages and I am a CE/Special Edition junkie.. I need my fix

I know that I have the ultimate edition for RIFT and the stuff that came with it is extremely helpful in the game, especially the portal generator. Im assuming that the stuff in the ultimate edition of Defiance will be simular.

I am with you on this, I don't understand how Gamestop can put up these prices and actual take per-orders and not even tell the customers what they are buying lol?

If the $150 version comes with a lifetime membership (assuming there will be a monthly fee) then I'm all in for sure. Someone please post once this has been confirmed.

Pre Order for exclusive in game item and beta access ... well guess im going to gamestop soon =P ... now im curious what gonna be the difference between all 3 version . i think normal is normal . collector gonna be with premium dlc or something like that and ultimate gonna be with real drawn map and maybe figurine . so if it like that il go with collector

I did preorder and I have my receipt from Gamestop but dont see anything about beta access on the receipt and was not told about anything have to do with beta upon purchasing the PS3 games itself? Where did you find that information?

I gotta say no-way this can be sub based, mainly because console players havent never paid sub. I really think B2P + shop. Even bigger reason to do B2P right and get money from CEs etc.

DCUO charges $15 a month for legendary status which unlocks all DLCs and future dlcs in the game to include alot of other perks, its $10 a month if you buy a while year at a time.

So yes indeed consoles do and will pay for subs.
