In their defense, store Outfits are account-wide while pursuit Outfits are per character.

Really? Do they actually mention that anywhere in the store? At all? I was looking at the outfits earlier and wondered if they were for the whole account. Increases their value considerably if they really are. They are still expensive though, just not ROFLMAO expensive if true.

They definitely are. My clan brother had set up another character and was able to use the Corporate Operative on her as well.
