Thanks for the quick reply Sledgehammer. Hopefully we see those emails real soon, so we can start downloading this magnificent looking game.

Props to Trion for listening with an open-mind when people like myself and others pointed out possible issues that could arise if everybody tried downloading the client all at the same time just shy of midnight the day before. The waiting game might stink, but in retrospect, it's probably still a lot better than having thousands all pull the same exact files at the same exact time with like 50k/sec speeds, lol. :cool:

PS - Also still waiting for my email over here, and also not seeing beta on the site yet, but all in good time. :D

(I still remember the nightmare that came to be when Tera went F2P and everybody all downloaded it at the same time... the darn client took near a full week to download. Couldn't interrupt it either or your files would end up with CRC errors.)

Afraid not. The download link is tied to your account, when you have been accepted.

No code yet. I have a beta key on steam AND put in a beta key.

PC Beta invite tokens are slowly rolling out. I would even venture to say we have only send out 30% of the invites. If you pre-ordered via Steam they will be sending you a Invite code you need to redeem on our site. That e-mail should be going out shortly.

Trion has to do two things to get your account accepted into the Beta. Thing 1: Add Defiance Beta to you Manage Accounts.
Thing 2: Send you an email informing you that the account is ready. If Trion has already set up you account BUT you haven't received the email (lots of emails get lost in transit; you may not have set up your account to receive emails from Trion, etc) you can still download. Just go to https://defiance.trionworlds.com/ -> manage games -> defiance beta -> download and follow the instructions.

[NOTE] This only works if Trion has already activated your account but you haven't seen the email. If they haven't activated your account, you won't see "Defiance Beta" under manage games.
