mission broken-project aegis, part 1

Everytime I try to activate the torrents with the square button it won't let me do it it just lags out and I cant get the side quest done

I have done every side quest and main quest but this one because it is soo laggy.

You need to go to the furthest turret and it will work.

i got it done by getting like 20 people to go over with me and just kill everything and the turrets eventually came up. but i think it is bugged and you kinda have to get lucky. but get as many people as possible and head over and start killing everything

This mission is definitely broke at this point (for PS3, IDK if the patch fixed it on PC/Xbox) the turrets will likely get activated BEFORE you have a chance to activate them by the mobs. And if ANY of them get activated on their own, I think they ALL get activated, causing you to have to abort the mission.

This is one of the only side missions I haven't been able to complete... I have gotten as far as restarting 1 turret just to have the other 3 activate on their own and not be able to complete it. You aren't the only one with a problem on this mission.

I have tried all different combinations restarting the mission over I've done about three guns and the last one dont work

I had the same issues. I found that rebooting Defiance with the quest active sometimes fixes it. Took me a couple reboots to complete it. Also the interaction flashing animation seems to not appear while on a vehicle.

I agree with HINDSIGHT, because, this is how my three man crew completed this mission. It was very frustrating!!! But, have patience. Also, if the turret will not reset. Move away from it and any instances (or they will activate) and return to the turret. Had to do this twice on the fourth turret to reset it. Good Luck.

I guess I got lucky when I got to first turret it was on and killing raiders when i pulled up. but after everything was dead in area walked over pressed square it turned off then back on. Was that way for all of the turrets

Worked fine for me, did it yestetday. Loved the mass hellbug spawn, i was all like "wtf?? Hell bug swarm ? H*ll f*uck yea
