Mods - A treasure Map

So, I have this weapon and I wanna mod it out, but exactly what are the options? What Mods should I be looking for?

Tables dont look anyhow nice and u have not all mods listed. Also never herd of legendary mods, any screenshots available? Also some datas arent accurate (extended sniper mag increaases mag size, not nano effect trigger).

So...you have effectively gone to Iron Demon Ranch and just took the time to write things down and compile them in a so-so table based on what weapon they do? Also note that mods do not scale in a simple manner of white = 2, green = 4, but sometimes jump around, so a slightly more detailed "chart" would be much better.

I would say ZAM seems to be slacking, but I never really liked the site to begin with so wouldnt know.

This is a wiki and I just built those tables last night using a full top-to-bottom run through of all Mods for sale at the Iron Demon Ranch Mods Vendor, supplemented by all mods I have on my 2 characters. Rank V is implied by other items I have seen. Confirmed I to IV are White to Purple, so I assume there are Orange Rank V somewhere.

You are correct on the Extended Sniper Mag and I have corrected it. I can only plead that I built this page at 2 in the morning last night. If you see any others, please tell me and I will correct them, or you can edit the page and correct it yourself. :) This is a wiki.. ANYONE can edit (you do have to make a FREE ZAM account, though).

And yet, green Munitions Interchanger II has Reload x0.90 and blue Munitions Interchanger III has Reload x0.85.

white Splash Muzzle I has Min DMG x1.05 and blue Splash Muzzle III has Min DMG x1.15, certainly implying that green Splash Muzzle II has Min DMG x1.10 (although I do not have one).

Power Choke I and II have Aim DMG and Hip DMG of x1.03 and x1.05 respectively.

Dispersion Muzzle I and II have Full Damage Radius of +0.20 and +0.40 respectively.

Evidence would seem to indicate that they DO progress smoothly. Logic would lead one to assume that any that don't are bugs and should be reported.

It is entirely possible that Mods higher than Rank III might have additional stats to the basic ones, but that seems unlikely given the consistency I have seen in Ranks I, II and III.

All that said, experience in game wiki's has taught me that reporting exact game stats without a DB backend is a losing fight, because devs often tweak item stats to fine-tune the game, leaving you with a hell of a rewrite to do or suffer with out-of-date info. MUCH better to report the general trends and mechanics within the game.

Tell players HOW to do something, WHERE to go do it, WHEN it needs doing, WHY they should do it, and WHO it needs doing to. This is of much greater value in the long run.
