Makes a change to play a game that lasts longer than 8 or 12 or 24, you get the idea, hours and you've finished it. Why ask about an end game in an mmo,a theoretical end game for this game would be your character getting deleted after so many deaths, that is to say imagine you had so many injuries in real life that you couldn't go on and died, that's an end game.
If you have not got the stamina to play the same game for more than a couple of weeks then I would suggest returning the goods to the store and asking for a refund, there's your end game as well
Let us not forget that games like WoW put out one expansion pack per year with enough content to keep most people busy until the next one gets released. This game, like any game on xbox live puts out DLC with the season pass covering the cost of the first five. That makes five sets of new content in the first year instead of WoW's one expansion pack. Let us also not forget that because of the tie in with the series, you can expect to get new episode quests every week or two.
If all of this is not good enough for you, then go do something else.
I'm usually in defence of the game on almost all topics as I've not suffered many Xbox issues that some of you have, but...
Forget the term "end game", but we definitely need Raid Bosses. Something where there is difficulty and a chance of death (even if slight). Difficulty isn't what I'd use to describe Arkfalls, nor is the threat of death while doing them.
Sorry but I don't believe Pursuits count, unless you want to grind out X kills or driving X kilometers to unlock an outfit. I love doing them as I love the extra costumes, but the pursuits cannot be considered that final chapters of the game once you finished the story personally.
I realise there are updated episode missions but understand that people will whip through them in a few hours (probably one play through) and then twiddle their thumbs again.
About the closest I've felt to bosses is the Co-Op missions where there was a bit of tension, even if only a bit. The bosses (with the ability to drop purple or greater equipment) would be a good start.
So I'm pro-raid boss with a measure of pursuits thrown in while waiting for respawns.
