Exactly how do you kill these scrappers?!

Well I thought Id walk around and kill some random encounter mobs.

I ran into EMC soldiers that needed rescuing from scrappers. The BIG one. I found out soon that Sniper rifle doesn't work. Just not enough bullets really. Assault rifle worked but after backing away and backing away, I only did 1/3rd of the dmg, and it retracts to the spawn point fully healed.

Geez! So what's best in this situation? I use ARs/Snipe, Detonators/BMG for arks, and AR/Infectors.

Ive used other weapons, but Ive cut down because otherwise I will never get around to leveling anything.

Any glowing yellow circles.

Is it the big guy with a huge "rocket gun" and a face mask that he will pull up when he falls down after you hurt him enough? If so you need to shoot his backpack or use explosives till he falls to his knees and raises the visor. The unload on his face. Kill the other scrappers all first and circle the vehicles (there are always ones there in my experience) till you can get angles on his backpack. Without hitting the tank/backpack it will take forever to down this guy. DO NOT stand Still unless cloaked.

He said scrappers so I don't think he meant tankers.

If u mean Scorpion, aim for yellow/orange parts, namely "inner" part of tail and OPENED eye (eye has incredible crit multiplier). Easily sniperable, gives alot easy weapon/skill XP thx to huge HP pool combined with incredibly vulnerable eye.

I mean the one that shoots these balls of lightning at you 3-4 at a time. He just comes at you, then eventually charges up and fires these high damage balls of energy at you. I think once, tiny scrappers came out of him.

Ye, thats scorpion. When he charges his lighting balls, just start jumping so they fly around (siderolls are also effective). When he charges to do his jum attack, just jump away to avoid that. Little bugs can easily be 1shoted (or meleed for free ammo if u have perk for it), or just grenaded.

Best enemy to train weapons (along with hulker, whos can be fullauto hipfired to death).

Great. Guess ill stick to the AR/Sniper combo then.

I use my Sniper Rifle to damage the big guy's eye. Cloaked with the 30% damage bonus from Shadowed Strike makes me hit him like an atomic bomb.

When he shutters up I'll use my Northstar Flare to take out the little guys and to put a DoT on the big guy.

there are lore type videos you get that kinda show all the mobs weaknesses. The Forges have spots on its "tail" and its "eye" when it uncovers.
