Just bought Defiance today so far enjoying it for the most part. I think it's pretty cool, its a bit shameful nobody really speaks in the game. Wouldn't mind looking for some mates to play with that would be pretty sick. Anyways happy hunting.
Oh and I was curious about the Bits? I understand they play as ingame currency purchased with MS points are the boxes worth it?

I'm sure things will change over time, hopefully. For now their focus from what i've read seems to be bugs then content.
About your question as to whether the bits are worth it for the boxes I wouldn't say that they are. xD

Don't use real money to buy the boxes. Just use in-game resources. I wouldn't worry about buying the weapon boxes until you're at least a little ways into the game (say, around Ego Power level 200 or so) and by that point you should have a good amount of Keycodes and Ark currency (both of which are needed to buy the boxes) and you can spend without worrying too much about losing a lot of currency. Generally the advice I think most people would give you is to only buy Tier 2 and Tier 3 boxes. The Tier 4s aren't worth the massive cost in keycodes really considering the chances that you'll wind up with useless items. Never EVER, EVER spend real money on Boxes or the Mod Caches. It's totally not worth it. If for some reason you want to use real money to buy outfits or whatever, fine, but it's a complete waste on the boxes.Quote:
