how are ppl cheating an hacking? i havent seen any of this done inTDM shadow war or in any co-op so explain what ppl are doing that fits hacking/cheating

I have sometimes been in a few co-op missions and for no reason at all i stop taking dmg and maybe this happens in the pvp matches and it's labeled cheating. I don't cheat but if the game turns me into the Incredible Hulk im going to take advantage of it.
I haven't came across any hackers, but this could be because I'm playing on the PS3 version. On the PC version, though, cheating may be a big problem, especially if data can be modified client side and the server doesn't have a check sum. Also, I'm not sure if VAC is enabled through steam. Even if so, VAC bans are usually delayed which would cause the offender to continue harassing other players until banned. If Trion doesn't have any anti-cheating system in place, then this problem will continue over and over again.
While playing on the PS3 version, however, I did come across an exploit in the chicken hotshot. It's rare to occur, but sometimes after I run out of ammo in my pistol (the weapon used for the challenge), it switches to my primary equipped weapon. I don't cheat in video games myself, but I got tired of those chickens and made them taste some rockets. Later, Defiance got me back with invisible walls right before the finish line during a race. I didn't know this game had a sense of humor until then. The best act yet though was making an entire building vanish in the San Francisco area.
Yeah, there might be a couple of minor exploits - but it seems like cheating is more of a PC problem.

The Xbox and PC are easier to hack than the PS3 but if Trion doesn't get on this soon it could become a problem for us as for cheating it's mostly just people using glitches.

Then again I don't play much of PvP.
In my lengthy experience most players who aren't doing well scream hacks.

i used to play comp games b4 they started making really good ones for ps3 an the hacking on pc games can get ricidulas very easy , but they tend to fix them on the games i played with was diablo2/3 only really ut over the years ppl just made new hacks for diablo BUT there is 1 game for ps3 thats in a way like this 1 talkning about boarderlands and if this turns out like boarderlands on ps3 it will be the same as pc or xbox , let me explain for those who dont really know boarderlands - we can make oour own weapons doing whatever dmg we want not only weapons any items also hack your lvl and your skill points honestly you can change anything an make anything , and it was done threw using your pc and a usbdrive this is what i was asking about if ppl are really cheating to lvl an hacking to make items , make your char have alot more life also being able to make them run faster walk faster shoot faster jump higher thats how boarderlands turned out an ruined any kind of dueling plus pointless to rly play co-op when u cant get hurt an 1shot everything , ANYWAYS thanks for all the respounces

if you looking for good clan with lots of boosts group/clan 4 of our memebers have 20k or more bits left still an we are small group do any an everything along with helping each other anyway possible once the resepct is built an you put back into the clan as we put forth alot to help
Despite some players complaining about rifles being too weak, I played a competitive match game to complete some pursuits and one player finished with 16 kills and 1 death using only a bolt action rifle. This isn't because the player is cheating, but very skilled. This also occurred on the PS3 version which I haven't seen or read any legitimate claims about hackers.Quote:
