how do you level up weapon skills?

Anybody have a manual that really tells us what the display items mean or the relationship between Weapon Damage to the bar under a weapon to skill levels?

My guess is that the maxing out on a particular weapon tries to force you to switch to a different weapon to vary your gameplay style. It's just a coincidence that this also forces you to buy more mods (which can be purchased for a entirely reasonable fee).

i think that they added a new feature to reset your weapon mastery skill thing so that u just gotta wait 20 mins idk if this works 100% of the time but it has for me atleast for my smg

Congrats to the person who brought this two year old post back from the dead. Brings me back to the good old days when I ran with blues to level gun skills because ojs cost too much to reset mastery. This was way before arkforge and mastery rolls didn't change... just a reset to bar so you could keep leveling skill.

Try being here from earlier than that, when you could not remaster your weapons at all. Once mastered they no longer added to your weapon skill. So you had to get a new gun that was not mastered to keep leveling skill.
