Funny moments in Defiance

Couldn'[t find a recent thread in search that dealt with legitimately entertaining things, as opposed to pointless *****ing and griping.

Earlier in a Waterfront PvP instance, had someone chasing me around the crate barrels. Went stealthed and stopped in a corner to turn.

Apparently my chaser had also stealthed, and ran into another stealth from his own team. They start shooting the heck out of eachother, so I add my one shot that was reloaded from my grenade Sawed off.

Since both were shooting explosives, the damage I dealt convinced them they were both killing eachother. So I fully reloaded and killed one off with the next shot, severelt injured the other. Think they were killed off by the grenade I threw.

What made it so funny, is I think everyone who PvP's has run into a time when they shoot at their own team mate. It's an understandable mistake when you are chasing down an enemy opponent stealthed. But to further them attacking eachother with just a little bit of damage; I felt like a puppet master once I realized why they were attacking eachother. The fact they were breaking stealth to do it was just iceing on the cake.

So feel free to post your own funny moments in Defiance, and why you feel they are funny, The why will usually give better insight than the what.

I currently got a lot of fun with a guided rochet launcher in PvP. You lock the target, and the guy is running everywhere to avoid the projectile. Aiming left or right changes totally the trajectory of the rocket, so the guy doesn't often understand wher comes the impact. The irony is people often bunny-jump : when it's really boring to target a bunny with a regular weapon, it makes the targeting even easier with such weapon (as the few possible obstacles are bypassed and the rocket goes faster on the victim...).

It's clearly not an imba weapon, but you got a satisfaction when you see someone dying from. And in few cases, I'm almost sure the guy didn't understand AT ALL what happened.



My second "funny moment" is thank to my second weapon, a BMG. I got also many defensive perks, and I'm pretty resistant to all, except shotgunners. I often run to cloaked friends, with my BMG on and an enemy chasing me. The guy empties his ammo on me, and my allies... on him.

Last night during Shadow Wars I was driving the cerberus for a teammate. Ended up splattering two cloaked enemies driving to Bravo then hit a ramp and landed on a third cloaked enemy XD

Every time I manage to biogrenade a group of enemies before dying is especially satisfying cause it's usually followed up by a series of assist notifications.

I've got a zero det time one and I sew chaos into enemy ranks with it. For instance today at waterfront I ran into a dude rocking blur around a truck over and over again while in a firefight, he kills my ally but I pop a shot off and drop a bio grenade next to me causing him to round the truck one more time to do a drive by before his blur wears off...right into my puddle.

I think this might be a great all time version, can just picture a group of stealth assassins trying to cross a road, and getting hit by a bus that just can't see them :)

Made me remember a time someone was jumping between two rocks in shadow war, and I jumped one rock, to smack him in mid-air into the other rock for the kill. Usually don't take joy in running people down in shadow wars, but that one was an enertainingly special case.

Lol cloak and vehicles make for some really silly moments. About 10 minutes ago I was running across a part at POW Farm. Quad comes and hits me. I somehow live but his quad blows up. He can't see me and I hit him in the face with my sniper XD

Only cloak meets vehicle I've ever had involved someone decloaking just a second before I ran him down.

I logged my first support ticket with TRION on Wednesday night (24th).
I got a response that it will be replied to within 24 hours.
I am yet to get a reply, five days later but ...
... I did receive an email on Saturday (27th) asking me to upgrade to the Digital Deluxe version.
Funny ****.

EDIT: I wonder if I have to buy the upgrade to get a response.

Yeah... not giving a crap. We're looking more for funny, and less about caring about your problems. Because we don't. At all. And somehow I haven't mocked you enough to complete the 10 characters requirement in some way. So picture a bunny with a pancake on his head.

One time I saw a buggy in Iron Demon Ranch that randomly flew about 150 game feet in the air. I have no idea how it happened, but the fireworks really had a reason being there when it happened.
