GW2 has no the usual tank/healer/dps trinity and it is working. In Defiance the only need to have a better role system is just to buff a bit the BMG protector and give some healing-related perks. In NO WAY in any coop whould be required a forced weapon setup. Every coop MUST be designed to be completed with every weapon setup people like. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER would like to see "LF healer/tank" in a shooter. No thanks
RAIDs in Defiance could be a 8 man content with 2-3 minibosses and a final boss. They should be totally casual-friendly, they should be doable with every weapon setup and a bit of group coordination. And they should be not too long, forcing to stay for 3 hours in the same instance is a no-no for a shooter. And reward should only be in keys, no raid farm for legendary gear.
So could be totally PUG friendly and could be a content a bit harder.
