    Agro - Especially in Arkfalls.
Anyone worked out how agro works? At the moment it seems that mobs target whoever is dealing most total damage. I say this as I've noticed monarchs that spawn during late stages of hellbug arkfalls often make a beeline for me and then spend ages chasing me round when i know I havn't been anywhere near let let alone opened fire on them, (Usually running round taking out Blast pods and Archers) often the same with Hellbugs can have several following me when I've not shot at them.

It's based on your costume. Change it out and they'll leave you alone

I didnt found any agro rules in this game. Just 1 - u wont get directly targeted by mobs u didnt hurt at all, rest is random.

It's based on damage dealt within a set timeframe near as I can tell.

I have the same problem you do. I've started focusing on the Archers and tubes when they pop. I've noticed that they are more of a concern when jackoffs are driving over the skitterlings.

This is what I've noticed too. Aim at the weak spots, use Overcharge and you'll draw aggro.

    It's a regular threat system with ...

    ... 1 damage accounting for 1 threat.
... an amount of bonus inital threat towards the player who dealt damage first or initiated the fight via body pull.
... there appears to be a threat threshold before mobs switch aggro.
... only taunt is the Decoy copy and it cannot lose aggro - LoS places some limitations on this.
... no idea about nano-effect parts that don't deal damage.
... no idea about damage through blowing up barrels.

Think that covers all there is to it.

ps: Aggro is very much not the same thing as threat.

no wonder!!!! i was wondering the same thing, when im shooting the hellion she/it always keeps coming after em, she/it will leave for a few seconds, i shoot her again and she stays on my butt till she/it goes back into the hive...i always thought it was because i was too close or something, guess i mustve been doing something right for the hellion to keep coming after me lol

There can be threat/aggro wipes for some certain mobs, but they are rare and none of the usual ones have them.
