According to my Paradise weekly, it is set for Explosions 101 and has been completed, not the new updated "Svushinnira: Thinning the Herd" for the Episode 3 pursuit which is required to complete the second part.
Thinning the Herd is the 2nd part of the episode, its not under the contracts because its a bunch of different kills. Thinning the Herd and Unconventional Methods are the 2 parts of Episode Svushinnira.
Given the problems they've had with weekly contracts resetting last week, I doubt that's the case.
I have the same issue--my Echelon weekly hasn't been reset either.
Its clearly the case that Thinning the Herd isn't under the contracts because it is under the episode. Thinning the herd requires you to kill a variety of the new types of Hellbugs, not like a simple collect 10 samples like the contracts.
Thinning the Herd is not a contract for Paradise as it says in the Unconventional Methods pursuit. It is a stand alone pursuit so you can complete it regardless of what is happening with your Contracts.
Until it's been confirmed, I'm going to remain skeptical.
And it doesn't change the fact that people's weeklies are still not resetting.
Despite the pursuit saying it's a Paradise contract, it's really a pursuit, someone just didn't put the right word for the combined pursuit leading to a bunch of confusion. I'm just trying to figure out where to find a Syphon Matron, found a few of the other new models, but that's the only one I haven't seen.
It says it's a "contract for Paradise" in the pursuit description. So unless they put in the wrong verbage, then I'm correct in saying it's not been updated properly. Also, the weeklys should have reset today regardless, so it shouldn't be showing the old contract and it being complete anyhow. It's bugged.
They must have put in the wrong word consdering there is a Thinning the Herd Pursuit right above it.
And I apologize, I said Syphon Matron, it's really a Syphon Monarch, which kind of looks pretty cool if I do say so. For anyone looking for the special Syphon and Shock Monarchs, just keep doing the random events with the new elemental Monarchs, you should eventually come across the Shock and Syphon versions.
Only need to kill 2 more electric archers to finish thinning the herd, got the other contracts finished.
