This contest is about Trion finding out the most efficient ways to earn salvage and nerf them.
For future notice, Trion, do NOT give out the details of how the contest will be judged. Just tell us the area of the game it involves. Telling gamers all the details only encourages people to find the loop hole (logging on for one hour only for two weeks and farming hard for salvage) and rig the system.
Example:
Trion: The next contest will involve your performance in Shadow Wars!
Gamers: Let's all sign up and just play like mad!
or
Trion: The next contest is the highest overall K/D ratio in Shadow Wars.
Gamers: Hey man, will you sit in this obscure corner of the map and let me kill you over and over all day so I can win? You will? Thanks!
The main problem here is not loopholes baior, its that the entire concept for the contest is flawed.
speaking of which the concept you bring up in your example shares alot of the flaws of the current contest.
I get the EU issue, which was a mistake on their part, but how is my concept flawed? If you combine several aspects of the game, but keep the details vague, what's the flaw? I get that for these kinds of designs there is often one particular aspect of the game that you can do that gets you there the fastest, but if you don't know the details how will you know which aspect that is?
A actual contest what to be fair has the worst prize imaginable, Not only will we be doing the work the devs should be doing but the outcome is gonna be bad for us too especially when they nerf the scrap collected so people have to pay more money to buy box's
I love how people take joke posts and rumors and complain about them like it's fact.
