Greatest lie from a MMO? What still isnt there to this day?

Ok most of us have played a ton of boat loads of MMO's. Companys lie there ***'s off to try and keep there customers as long as they can, They know they are lying and deep down in the dark places we dont like to talk about we know they are lying aswell. So just for fun what Game/MMO/Company/etc is/did/done/still

The BIGGEST lie you can remember (or broken promise) made by a company that to this day still is not added to the game. (To be fair no games less then a year old)

Example: STO promised early on the piloting of ships from the bridge- Never happened

(Wonder if this post even makes sense, Tired and seeing double (I dont even wanna think about all the grammer and spelling errors))

DAoC - Promised that you would not have to do PVE in order to be competitive in RVR. then they released Trials of Atlantis.

Hmm... I guess I'll have to try and track down my list of Georg Zoellerisms from the early months of SW:TOR post-launch.

I doubt any game in the history of gaming has more outright lies than were told by that one developer.

I found The Old Republic and Warhammer Online had WAY bigger promises, pushed WAY more hype and disappointed WAAAAAY more than this game can even hope to achieve if they tried.

Warhammer didn't even finish developing all the capitals. lol
ToR claimed to be an epic game, and, for a Starwars game was so far removed from the word "epic" it was depressing.

Anyone with any idea about marketing would've know Syfy and Trion trumpeting "transmedia" was just BS. I think it does tie in but there are still a lot of questions they aren't answering, leaving many people to be disappointed.
I personally am fine with it now, but knowing more about the DLC and if/when future episode quests will show up would be nice.
Also more data recorders please.

My personal biggest disappointment in MMO?
I guess.....Warhammer as a whole. I got hyped for it, and even when I played it, I love the PvP, specifically how tanks can actually tank and protect others in PvP, oh and COLISSION detection in PvP, seriously, why don't other MMOs do that.
ToR as a whole is a close second, probably because I wasn't as hyped for it.

Guild wars 2 and their promises to the ranger community. x.x

Does that game even count as an MMO (in the traditional sense, not literal?)

I'll second War Z, but not everything, they just had a lot of things they wanted to do but failed to carry through with. Although lately from what I hear the game is doing a lot better in keeping their promises.

I have only played one big PTP mmo so far and thats EVE. I don't think anything in the few years I have played that the developers promised something but did not deliver.
