Only games I play on PC are ArmA 3 and Planetside 2. Nothing else is worth it because most of my friends can't afford a PC like mine so we game on the ps3. Console games are simple and everyone is on an even playing level making the gaming experience more enjoyable.

I don't mess out on anything I have a 4 yr old Pc which is still running fine, a Ps3, 360 and a WiiU. You don't have to be a Pc gamer or a console gamer you can be both. I use to be a just a Pc gamer but I got so tired of having to upgrade my Pc or build a new one every year for the lastest games. So I bought a Ps3 for $299 instead of 1200-1500 on building a new Pc. The next year I bought a 360 for $249 instead of the cost of another new Pc and this past year I bought a WiiU for the wife and daughter for $299. So In the Span of 3 yrs after building this Pc I have saved atleast $400 a year because I didn't have to build a new Pc to run the latest and greatest game. I have also saved tons of money buy joining gamefly for $25.00 a month instead of buying every game that comes out for the consoles. Only games I have to buy now are for the Pc which is like 1 or 2 a year at max.

With that said I will not buy the PS4 or next xbox this year when they come out maybe next year when the prices come down some. I have heard rumors the PS4 can be anywhere from $500 -$700 when it releases. Hell I got my 50" 3d Smart Tv for $700 , there is no way I will spend that much on just a console.

Or maybe because some people are to stupid and don't know everything you can do on a PC. They think we play them for better graphics where as that's maybe 5% of the reason you play PC.

Yea more like 70%...(okay slight exaggeration but it's a hell of a lot more than 5%) Only reason Im buying one is for a faster more powerful graphics intensive experience

Maybe, You got to think about the cheap prices of PC games, the 50+ PC exclusives we get a year, and mods which are huge for me, and so much more advantages on PC than those kid toys.

In the end you get what you pay for.

    Mindless/Easy.
"Cheap" (not that tech ever is) Mass produced generic system, company lockdown on software, high price games with a "happy compromise" dual analogue control.
    or

    Personal/Complex.
"more expensive" Custom made system (in the end all PC's are custom, it just varies with the company you use), install anything, free-standard priced games(see £10-£20 less), mouse & keyboard (or anything you choose to plug in).

Eventually the consoles will mimic the PC functionality and versatility but there will always be custom made units around for those willing to pay.

um.. been using mouse/keyboard since ps2 on consoles....

ps3 networks or directly connects to several devices w/o need for driver downloading/installihng, flight sticks, printers, .. u name it.. get a clue..

like photo/video editing? excell spreadsheets? wordprocessing? surfing the web? printing off bank reports? update social media? help cure cancer? i'm sorry.. what exactly are you doing on pc that isn't done by a modern (ps3) console? (oh.. and its nice to surf pron with and not have to worry about viruses..)

on the issue of game cost.. well, not much can be done about that, BUT.. rest assured, usually with a console product it is far less buggy, more finished product for the consumer. but really.. the pc games have taken the console trend on pricing.. demanding 50-60 even 70 bucks a game.. how's that price advantage now??mods.. they happen, can and have happened on console.. its not an issue, only need to be written.. most though, with a pc backround, simply don't..

honestly.. no matter what the "system" is.. it seems you should be less "stupid" and understand everything you can do on things that aren't pc's... without voiding warranties.......

my rig and setup are pretty damn good, but really, it's about 78% more than what's needed to play any game at max settings..
