So I specifically waited for the PS3 patch.
It said they were nerfing the sawd offs and FRC LMGs?
But then it says in the patch notes that its just "general tuning to improve LMGs"
anybody know the specifics of the nerfs? I had a sawd off pre patch that had 1919 damage, and after patch it still says 1919. Im confused.
The LMGs were getting buffed, not nerfed.
And Trion never released actual numbers... so no one knows. :c
I haven't fully tested the shotguns yet, however the sawed off courier (which shoots two sticky grenades) is now slower on the reload. Rather than instantly reloading both grenades into the barrel at once, it now loads them one by one. Haven't tested Nano Fragger or LMG's yet.Quote:

yea i noticed that you can cancel the reload on the courier and fire one nade out. I totally spaced the northstar nerf. I need to go and look at the numbers. But if its the same with the sawed offs, there will be no difference. Why didnt they change the numbers on the info if they ACTUALLY changed the damage numbers?Quote:

and i cant see any difference in my infectors even tho people said they got nerfed
The north star lost a lot of dam my sawn off is about 3/4 its original dam and infectors lost a third of theyre range. Itleast the ones I have lol
It seems like the range on the canker got nurfed big time. Too bad, it was my favourite gun :-(
They got nerfed big time range wise. Immunizer & Afflictor had a 34 range before, they're now at 20.Quote:

All the ranges on infectors got nerfed besides the immunizer

Adding in that infectors can only home while ADS would be a nice addition.
Northstar got nerfed by Half. (Should have been a 25% Reduction)
And yes Infectors (except immunizer) got a range reduction. I also think the bugs do less dmg (slightly) and their speed got lessened.
Auto Lobbers ROF got reduced (still not bad)
Dmg on Crash Boomer, Rebounder Lobber and Auto Lobber was reduced, but I don't recall how much.
My personal takes,
They nerfed the flare too much 25-30% would have been fine. My second favorite pistol is meh now.
The range cut on the infectors.... I am living with it, but it seems a little harsh.
I havn't noticed the dmg/bug speed differences
Everything else.... ok.
I actually noticed all of my shields having about 10 to 20 less capacity. Didn't notice any changes to my sawed offs or saws. And one of my shottys was actually buffed. VOT Fragger went from 78x12 to 91x12.
Noticed some more stuff last night that was buffed. Didn't wanna make a new thread lol. Birdshot Pumps were buffed from 45x16 to 70x16. Might be viable now?
Pyro grenades got a boost to tick damage, or at least mine did, they went from 113 damage to 128 ish? Can't tell however if the pyro grenades got the radius boost like the patch said though.
Dosent sound very useful at all.
