Guys That Play On Girl Characters

I have noticed alot of girl characters in Defiance are guys. I understand playing on a girl character. It could be that the girl characters look cool, or maybe you would rather stare at a girl character's butt while you play. I was wondering what are people's opinions on this or if you are a guy and play on a girl character, what are your reasons? I really don't care nor does it bother me if someone plays on a different gender character. It's just a game, so it really does not matter. I am merely curious.

I play a guy character as I prefer trying to put myself in the game. However, I did consider making a girl character just because they appear to look better.. and not in ways most guys would say. Guy characters seem to be really bulky and especially irathiants. I find myself sticking with one or two outfits. The girls seem to have a wider variety of decent looking outfits as opposed to guys. Now that is just my reasoning if I ever played a girl.

You're gonna get a lot of the same replies about looking at a butt for hours a day. That one's been around for a long time.

Female characters in general are much thick than male characters.
For pvp players this is advantage.
I have female char too, but it is alt and i dont play with her.
In some MMO's female animations are better for casters (mages, warlocks and so on, and so on...).

Too bad there isn't much variety for the guys. When I go to an arcfall it seems like I see clones everywhere. It would be much better if the outfits were in pieces and not just a full outfit, so people can create styles of their own.

I have thought of the idea of a gay guy who may want to play on a girl character, but I've never really experienced anything like that.

It's also known that some guys play on a girl character to get free stuff by flirting.

Since its not a FPS... after long hours looking at a huge female rear is more entertaining than looking at a dudes. If it was an FPS than it would not matter a single butt errr... I mean bit.:D

You can make mix between head gear and rest of the set.
I using black glasses with EMC heavy trooper (or something).

Yeah, but it's just the headgear. Even so, alot of guys look the same. I am talking about wearing one top of one outfit and one bottom of a different outfit.

I'm playing as an irathient female mostly because I've got plenty of opportunity to play as male characters in so many other games, nice to have some variety. Plus I have a character in a comic I'm writing that kinda looks like an irathient, so I decided it would be fun to throw. Her into the world of Defiance.

I did that on DC I'm married and 100 percent straight but it's too easy to get help and good gear if you just don't use a mic and make a girl character. unless your on a guys friend list it's hard to get help in games.

However since you can't ninja in this game and you didn't used to have to group for credit I made a guy alien in defiance I must agree though they made the guys to wide most outfits make them look like a little cube guy running around.

Never thought about how small females are for pvp though that's clever. Pvp alt on its way.

My main is female. Mostly due to the aesthetics. Like several people pointed out the males are very bulky and to be honest the outfits are crap on them. It looks like you wearing different colored cardboard boxes most of the time. The only thing I like on the males that the female characters dont get is the Drifter headgear's headband. The one with the X on it. Other than that it doesn't much matter to me as long as I'm playing. Not like I'm staring at the character anyways, lol
