I know that not much has been realeased about these and thats fine with me i was just wondering is i got the ultimate download if i would still have to get the season pass and also would i get that red armor or is that just a pre order thing?

The Ultimate Edition and Season Pass are two separate items that you'll need to purchase. The Ultimate Edition comes with various goodies, but no future DLC. The Season Pass fills that hole.
If you buy the Ultimate Edition, you can still claim the red armor.
