It's annoying in PVE and very frustrating in PVP. I once used my bezerker combat shotgun on someone but the clip wasn't full, got them down to a sliver of health then was forced to reload while they were shooting back. I was full health and shields and had a full thing of ammo, so I knew I had them.
Reload bugged once and my ammo vanished, now only 17 rounds left, so I tried to reload again. Reload bugged again, all ammo lost...dead.
Really wanted to toss my controller after that.
This reload bug happens with any weapon, no matter what kind it is. I use AR's a lot, and when I reload the mag it seems to go into a 2 or 3 reload animation phase.

forgot the name of my shield but I just picked it up before the server reset, it is 85% with 6 second delay.

Nope. This isn't true at all. I don't use the respark and there are times when I'm not in combat (not being damaged) and this bug will occur. It doesn't just happen with shotguns, but pretty much any weapon. My VBI AR1 Armada that shoots 3 rockets in a row does this same thing. Since we're limited to the amount we get in PVP to 3/7. If I get the reload bug twice, my inventory is gone and I have to go to an ammo dump to get more.
And here I thought I was crazy.
I've been experiencing this with a pump shotgun. I'll be in the middle of the LONGEST RELOAD OF ALL TIME (9 shot clip), and it'll be like... 1...2...3...4...0. Wait, 0? Why 0? Ugh, reload again, I guess. I'm also occasionally getting all the shots drained from my clip. I'll shoot 9...8...7...6...5...0. Missing a few shots there.
Not the end of the world since I think shotguns suck anyway, but irritating.
