It's fine if they want to ALSO use Twitter, Facebook or some other social media site to communicate with its users, but honestly, you don't post what is going on with your servers on your own page? Really? Not all of us want to use twitter to find out what going on with a game we paid good money to play.
Additionally, I find the lack of communication regarding updates to the people who are making you money disturbing and unprofessional. Its a game to us, but a business to you! have some respect for us and post it on your own page, easy to find and with rolling updates every 1/2 hour.

On a happier note, I finally completed that last annoying (Wasteland) race when the servers came up. The spawning Dark Matter at the beginning made it quite the challenge, but luckily I had a friend on who helped clear the buggers out for the first leg.
