The Severs are down for a reason!

Ok people you are taking the servers down thing too seriously.

Remember that "Dodge Challenger Speed Challenge for Paradise?"

Well if you look at this post,
Look Here for the Server Status , you would see that they're adding the Paradise Vendors for that contract. So now you can say, "What are these Vendors for?"

Well its pretty simple if you caught the News Feed before Pressing A, clicking, or Pressing X (yes I mean all the default buttons to start your character in the game), those Vendors are for the Challenger colors and they're just adding them in game so it will only be an approx. 30 minutes of downtime, so relax and watch some news or for the younger audiences, go watch some cartoons or something

How about -- who cares about a dodge challenge and new Dodge colors, and fix a all the more important problems this game has if they are going to take it off line. I say put it back in the cooker for another 6 months then release a polished product, If it could even be done with in that time frame.

They seem to always underestimate the amount of time these updates/resets will take.

Some people are to lazy to look anywhere other than GD forum but i assure you a lot of the thread OPs know why the servers are down already.

for another 30mins...i knew it...why dont they just give them selves extra time?

like if they think its going to take 30mins...say it will take an hour...if its going to take an hour...say it will be down for 2 hours...it would give them some leeway at least, and if they get it done early then just say you finished early!

Those colors kind of suck to be honest, and really if they are going to take the servers down to add one piece of new content, might as well slip in a few bug fixes while you are at it.

Not everyone has the time to just wait for servers to come back up. Some people have schedules of which gaming time is part.

You would think they would have added the vendors for it beforehand.

Thanks for the cookie but you missed my point.I ment the OPs of the threads complaining about the "unexpected" downtime.

I understand taking the servers down for a short amount of time to add new content for something like this weekend's challenge, but come on... this game goes down more often than a prostitute working out of a hotel you can rent by the hour.

Not that I would know. :P
