why people only want this game to be a pvp game

PVP will keep this game afloat honestly. That's why.
The PVE in this game is cool and all. But without a challenge and worthwhile rewards, it won't be worth the time.
And PVP will be where people go to.

PvP in here is a bad joke. I love Rift, but always that felt its PvP was bad. Defiance makes it look gooood.

The only MMO where I have found PvP to not be a complete waste of space yet is DC Universe Online, but only in the Legends matches. Normal arenas are also a joke.

And I won't even get started on WoW PvP, despite Blizzard's constant work on it.

Yeah, Tabula Rasa tried the whole "pvp is our endgame" thing too. No. There are far too many shooters on the market for PVP to be a legitimate rason d'etre for Defiance.

pvp = challenge? hmmmm...running around cloaked and using shotguns for 1 hit kills = not challenging imo lol

and if pvp is where everyone will go on here, then why call this game an mmo, instead call it multiplayer pvp

Pirates of the Burning Sea also tried that PvP focused endgame, too. Look where it ended up.

If they ever did make the game lean heavily towards PvP, I would definitely stop playing. PvP is little to no fun, and not the reason I decided to get this game.

LOL!! Ever play WoW? Massively PvP orientated and still a very successful MMORPG.

Have you even played PvP in Defiance? Obviously not because it is freaking ADDICTIVE!!! Even with only 2 maps in TDM. I really haven't seen a lot of talk about PvP in Defiance but I believe I should because of it's obvious popularity, but I highly doubt people are saying they want this game to be PvP "only" that's just weird and well... stupid!
