Random or Bias?

well, i went into this not expecting to get epic weapons very often, but not at all????, after reaching 1650+ EGO and spending over 600 keys + 5000 odd bits on tier 3 lock boxes, i get nothing but blue shotguns..., literally 80% the rest being green crap. Now i know these items are no real benefit over the normal gear, but it is a requirement in pursuits and i'd like to finish them. Add to this the insult of seeing EGO 200 (or less) running around with all orange gear and i feel quite dejected lol. Don't take this as a whinge, instead a question..., is anybody else having the same issue? or does this game just not like me? :confused:

Yeah i'm sorta thinking that too haha, i've been neglecting the "Boomstick to the Face" pursuits, maybe the game is trying to tell me to use them more, giving me so many shotties. it's just a little ironic that those i see with orange gear at early levels, are the ones that obviously pre-ordered the deluxe package (judging by the red dodge's & costumes included) and not the 'el cheapo $60 standard package like i did post release. I guess i was somewhat wondering if this raised the percentage of drops / luck (being the bias i spoke of). but ahh well, not a game killer, just frustrating.
