Xbox 360 Shadow War - More Draw Distance, please

    Blame infector users. The draw rates drop mightily because the game has to render all those bugs (also the reason Freight Yard was crashing and had to be taken out again). Once Trion nerfs the broke *** immunizer and nubs stop using it because it isn't OP anymore then the draw rates should be back to normal.

    I was aware of the Infectors, but the Draw Distance limit of 80 meters also applies to PvE, alone, not engaged, just looking through your scope.

    And it's the details, the character model details. At least I think so. Once characters phase into view, they're fully detailed, like standing in front of you, you can see every little thing. Most games scale the details with distance, the closer you get, the more details you see. Defiance doesn't, at least not for character models.

    Anyway, Shadow Wars is all fun, but it would be so much more fun with more space than 80 meters to work with.

    Trion is either too lazy or too stupid to fix this. Just look at all their failed patches and I bet todays patch will be added to that extensive list of **** ups...

    I actually don't think they're either. If you look at how new - actually revolutionary - it is what they are doing, I personally am amazed it's working at all.

    And they are pretty good with the fixes, but it's not as easy as just putting in a line of code somewhere. And I would assume that making three different platforms (PS3 being VERY different, Xbox and PC not so very different) work off the same server-side code, brings it's own problems. You can test something ad nauseam under controlled circumstances, but one you disperse it to a few hundred thousand people and apply Murphy's Law a few hundred thousand times...

    Anyway, I don't think it's an "easy" thing to do. Especially since it wasn't in the game to begin with. It's not a bug - it's too persistent and coherent for that - just an inconvenience stemming from a confluence of certain conditions. It's a major inconvenience for me and many others, but I don't think it's something they putting a priority on, not with so many actual bugs still floating around.

    But I am still hopeful...

    Killing the 50 vehicles in Shadow War was a mess, because by time they showed up on your map, it was to late. I like the capture and hold, but for Shadow Wars, first 5minutes it starts out good(very enjoyable) then goes south quick with ***, slow frame rate(very frustrating and unenjoyable). Players not even rendering on my screen. 4 enemies at a becan 2 which have has overcharge on, my map and screen indicates there is nobody there but someone could be hiding in cloak(always be cautious), end result... i'm dead before my screeen renders players on the screen. I look at the kill cam and there are 4 players just standing there.... If I would of know(or seen this) I wouldn't of drove my ATV in to a group of 4 enemies when it was just only me.... Has such potential. but currently has bigger fristration after frustrations

    Good at patches??? Really, why is freight yard still down? Why are arkfalls still messed up? Why did a glitched out character model just walk in front of me? Good at patches my ***, and btw infector grenades probably caused that char model glitch... Or at least that will be trions excuse...

    That are good at patches. They do a good job a lot of the bugs that i saw when the game lunched a mth ago. other game can run with 8 people in some can't do it with 4 without lag, bugs, etc. and they do the same thing year after year, They are doing something new and doing a good job at it. One of the main problem they have with patches is that a lot of the bug in the game is account base, so that make it harder to fix.

    Let's just bring this back to the Draw Distance. It's my only remaining big issue with the game (since apparently a way to use the Salvage Matrix to Re-Set your Weapon Mastery is coming soon).
