Questions, Concerns, and Lemons.
I've a few, questions for the wonderful people of Trion, and this forum.. and concerns that seem to be shared from people I speak with in game.
Question One: Why did you tie Ego Power Rating in with Character Information, without giving a way to change race, and appearance from the start?
Why this concerns me: First off, on it's own at the given build, Ego Power Rating does nothing on it's own. Yes it gives you better weapon boosts, yes it unlocks perk slots, yes it allows more carrying capacity but all in all, these are things Badass Rating in Borderlands Does, an award system that allows you and easyer transition when making a new character. Now considering they want to release a DLC, giving us a new race... though we loose our EGO Power Rating in the process? it's a deterrent, now I will use that when it comes, but most more then likely won't.
Question Two: Knowing you were going to make a new race, and other features which old characters can't access without a race/appearance change Why did you tie clan founder in with character name and not account name?
Concerns: First, this not only does this make character swapping difficult, but it adds unnecessary steps. Promoting someone to take over, quitting, having new charecter invited to the clan, having that character put into 2nd in command, then the replacement founder leaving, and being reinvited.. all could be removed by making your account name the founder, and account names tied to clans, instead of characters.
Question Three: Why did you allow us to unlock outfits which d Nothing, then let us find out we have to re-unlock them in concurrent playthroughs?
Concern: This again, goes as a deterrent towards new character making, have an outfit you love, like the one for "Sniping in the Shadows III" it took you 3 weeks to unlock it, then find out you have to go threw it all again to get that one outfit... I can see many rage quitting their new toon due to that.
Question 4: why give us the Nomad in the Beta, then remove it in the official release, only to make it a Bit Only purchase there after?
Concern: This kind of maneuver is a blatant money grab, people loved the Nomad, people missed the Nomad, people were upset the Nomad was only for steam, now you make it purchase only off of the Defiance Store? I'm seriously thinking of Boycotting that store...
I'd like others feed back, as I doubt I'll ever see any answers.
