Do you plug in your keyboard?
It's probably a stupid thing to ask but would you plug in your keyboard to the PS3 to play Defiance? I'm one of those people that's not big on using a headset (mine's uncomfortable anyway) and I'm more comfortable initiating a text chat before lending my voice, but that's just me.
It's probably not worth the effort of bringing a keyboard down to your PS3 but I'm just wondering if there's a small population that would rather a quick way of putting in text for region chat, etc.

    Justified
I use this: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-PlayS...h+keyboard+ps3 sometimes. No need to plug it in and instant text chat if I want.

I dont play on the PS3 (Xbox only) but yeah, I enjoy the keyboard over the headset. I mean its not really like BF3 where you need ppl to move in groups to kill or point out ppl on a sniper perch. The battling is pretty frenzied and IMO you dont need the headset unless joking around with friends while blasting away on the open map.

I used a keyboard on DCUO but I haven't tried it on Defiance yet, but the ps3 does recognize a USB keyboard

I use an Apple bluetooth keyboard. I really only use my mic for clan chat...

Yeah. I'm using an almost brand new like 15 dollar Logitech keyboard that I bought a couple years ago, replaced it with a Razer Anansi. I use it because I don't really like using a mic either, but I was unsure if my PC could run Defiance with playable FPS so I was kind of forced into getting it on PS3

Yes. I'm using a corded usb-keyboard - and a corded headset as well. Don't like these wireless things.

I prefer mic over keyboard, but can understand why people would like the keyboard over mic.

    Myst
Yep and I still find it very useful especially since I had the motherlode break down on my group and told them all to just die so we can restart :D. Pretty much I just switch my keyboard from one system to the next anyway so I like it, plus I lost my mic again and not buying another one.
