Looking for Love in all the WRONG PLACES!!!

I just gave to say there is no such thing as a Dudes game... my girlfriend ...who may very well be imaginary, inflatable or my hand... or might be a cute redhead who can make me look like a noob by comparison on most shooters... except for doom.. she doesn't know the godmode code... then again she doesn't need to.. there are 'so few' female gamers because there are so many creeps wanting to cyber or get pics or whatever... and guys like you who think all they are good for is making you a sandwich.. I make my own sandwich damn it... she loves me so she doesn't put on enough of the yummy stuff the doc says I shouldn't eat...

no I didn't read the whole tread the first post pissed me off

Uh ok. All you are doing is making the point of the post. So bent out of shape because you want to hound dog it with a dude. Point of post is to say any anti social dude who can't get out to meet real girls and goes around in an mmo looking for love with the assumption a girl toon is a girl is ridiculous especially when the gamertag is shown to be a man tag. Is it trickery? Is it deceitful? No...its just a video game. The sooner you realize that the better off you will be.

I play Defiance and I love it, I can see how some girls wouldn't like this game, but I like to shoot guns irl and in game so meh. That said, no one has ever bothered me in game, however I don't have one of those names that invites attention. Maybe just assume all girl toons with names like the OP are dudes?

A couple thoughts.

I've never had anyone offer me an orange or any other type of fruit in this game.

I think it's as unfair as everything else previously discussed to assume that girls playing as girls are trying to manipulate guys into just giving them stuff.

I am a neutral party to all this gender business, and I don't talk on the mic, so I'm pretty much playing this game alone.

Also, you guys can collect your guns and grenades. I'm in it for the outfits.

We have a clan mate who's a guy, plays a female toon and has a female name. It's confusing sometimes to hear him talk. lol. Not a big deal though. It's the internet. If you went into a chat room with a name of Babydoll you would have to expect some guys to be hitting on you before you they knew your real gender. Gaming on the internet in an MMO is pretty much the same. I created a female toon as well, but have a gender neutral name. I don't get any friend requests outside of the clan.

Your reasoning to create a female toon is that you want to be able to enjoy what you look at on the screen. I can understand that. Next time, make one with a gender neutral name. You'll get bothered less, I guarantee it.
