Cross Platform save information?

So I understand that there is little to no chance that xbox players will ever be able to play cross platform with ps3 and ps3 with pc and so on, but considering I log my information into a Trion account, don't see why if someone buys two copies of the game for two different platforms, they shouldn't be able to play their same account on both. I got the game for xbox and want to get it for pc now but I obviously want to be able to use my same account and characters that I've already spent time leveling and gearing up. Any thoughts on this?

I would like to know this aswell as I am thinking going back to pc gaming this be the first game I get.
Surely once you put in your Email and password it should work and cross over from xbox to pc.
