Microsoft, Sony, Stop acting like stubborn little children and let us play w/friends

This is a demand I broadcast here to allow for Defiance to usher in a new era of unity- I play on PC and Xbox, but have friends on PS3. I want to be able to play on my PC with my friends on Xbox, I want my cousin and friends who own a PS3 to have some common ground we can all enjoy, and I know it can and is feasible on the test servers which Trion blatantly said. Don't pretend you don't think this would be absolutely insane. We've seen it happen, Shadowrun, FF, both fine.

CS:GO already ******d out.

Don't let our game continue this cycle. We want change.

I would not mind ps3 and xbox being able to play to together. Pc plays would have a big advantage over consoles plays just with the fact of the precision of the mouse over the analog stick. I am also for the unity of the games so if it happen that would be cool. I have friends that will not play on pc because the say it is to complicated to play on pc. I see to them your not a true game.... lol. I play all systems.

I respectfully disagree with you.

The worst Keyboard and Mouse player has an advantage against a good Controller player. Although there has been talk of having trading cross platform, or social only areas, but any co-op or PvP would be unenjoyable.

Good luck bud. But as it has been said PC gamers would dominate over console players. I do feel, however, that XBOX and PS3 could/should be unified, but we're talking about two greedy, greedy companies, it just won't happen. Not in the near future though.

There is 1 game that pulled this off and it was Final Fantasy XI, they are trying again but its a no go.

Plus Trion Worlds said there will be no cross over platforms, plus if your in a party chat and your buddy its on the ps3, how the hell that suppose to work?

I know Sony is open for these kind of stuff they already allowed CCP to use there network via DUST 514 and merge it with EVE Online servers PS3 players and PC players will be playing together for the first time.

Microsoft on the other hand is too closed and tight thats why there isn't many MMO or F2P games on Xbox they need to open up and start cooperating with Sony for the sake of there consumers

Actually, the keyboard/mouse control gap is almost gone with the implementation of the motion sense controllers, the interaction with the game interface has the same level as the the mouse/keyboard input. The PC's superiority has more to do with more computing power, than user input/control when equal systems are used.

Btw, I'm insanely jealous of the ps3's gun mockup controller.

That's different. Dust and Eve players aren't playing together on different platforms--they're playing different games on different platforms that share some data.

I would like the cross platform's since at the beginning it did state for the game in interview "Cross platform gaming community." But guess they can't always get what they want.. though if anyone states the reason is PC games have an advantage that is total Bull honky.. Controls have just as easy aiming as a mouse. You can aline a shot just like a mouse not that hard.
