I'm far from "tarded." i just don't take this game as seriously as so many other people do.

Wow Sledge went and pulled out his comment. this is just how messed up it is. I think He should make a formal staement.

i doubt i'll buy the "season pass." but i'll try the first one and let that one set the standard for the other DLCs. For some reason it makes more sense to me to spend more $$ over a period of time instead of one lump sum at the get go. I mean if i get the season pass and decide after 1 DLC i'm done getting them...then i'm out $$$ if i buy the first DLC and hate it then well i won't spend anymore $$..but if i like it i can just pick them up whenever.

I did this with BF3. I bought the first DLC then after that i quit playing for like 5 months. black friday hit and i bought the "ultimate edition" for like $30.. got the game and all premium content plus i traded in my other copy and still got like $20 for it.. I could see me doing that 6-8 months down the road with Defiance.

Did I buy the same game? It says Defiance on the box but......Glad you're liking it, once all the bugs are squished (no pun intended) it should rock

wait, i thought it was a one player game. how are you playing with your wife? I would love to get my wife playing this game too.
I have to agree that this is a far from perfect game, mechanic and program wise, but i do love it. The reasons that OP posted are the same for me.
I do think though that the $60 price tag is a little high for a buggy game that looks like an XBOX360 launch title. I got mine used. I have recommended it to all my friends, but said they should find it used to save a few bucks.

    1. quit worrying about the tech bugs
    2. sit back in your chair and relax
    3. you'll start enjoying the game more

now i'm like 2 months clean of CoD...i know what it's like being frustrated with a buggy glitchy crappy connecting game.. defiance is the other end of the spectrum for me. granted if i was a hardcore MMO player then i'l probably have the same issues others are having. to me, this game is more like chillin with some good people and taking the game for what its worth and having some fun. Is it kinda of frustrating when something bugs out?? yeah... it is..last night 2-3 major arkfalls bugged out and the final boss never spawned...but we found that the skitterlings still kept spawning so we just shot them..once the car ppl got bored and left our overall arkfall kills increased...eh.. so it worked out lol

I love this game too. I have only gotten one of my friends to play. All of my other wussy friends are too scared to try it.
I keep telling them is damn good. If can only get better going forward with more content and new places to travel to.

I enjoy the game, it has potential. What I don't enjoy is sloppy development and rushed products. Still, let the patches role and the fixes come

I too like the game. I'm also lucky when you guys aren't on I can play with my wife. The only thing that sucks is she's a casual gamer and I'm going to have to finish Nim off for her....Ugh

The core mechanics are there and it's the community that's keeping it alive.

Although in scrapworks I tried so hard to show that low level where the key codes were and she ignored my text and emote of FOLLOW me I just gave up....

You need to be playing more when I'm playing, not that stupid Black Ops 2 shtuff. That's like, not even a game! I still need Motherlode and Mine 99 and I'm good on those.

OT: Love the game as well. Really looking forward to the first DLC and really enjoying PVP.
