just a quick thing to point out...when the EU formed up, they imposed a very heft tax on american mmo companies that were running game servers that weren't based in europe.. for every single EU citizen that connected to the american based server.

i don't know if that's changed lately, but it's why shortly after the EU formed up, older games started splitting off european servers, with no method of cross-server communication between USA and EU... so unless that tax hike has been lifted, you should have a chat with your higher-than-local politicians about being stupid in regards to bandwidth costs. the taxes were based on claims that the bandwidth required to connect large amounts of players to the usa servers were too costly for the european based isp's.

I'm so sorry...
