I love the game, I really do, but I think I'm done.

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to call it quits. I was going to finally buy the game from gamefly next week as part of my Metro: Last Light cash pile I got going since it's relatively cheap right now, but because of Trion's actions, I just can't.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game, I've supported it from day one and have proudly flamed the little whiners that pretend that they know what they're talking about, but I just can't anymore.

Trion being unable to fix the bugs which honestly seem like its a very easy server-side fix is just unbearable.
The abomination called the Defiance Store.
Me being incredibly bored with the game now that I've completed the Sniper pursuit.

I love the game, but I have literally nothing to do now. I have no reason to go for the other weapon pursuits because they don't appeal to me. Assault rifles are great, yeah, but Infectors are garbage. I only use Pump Action shotguns and sawed off shotguns because Combat Shotguns are useless imo. LMGs are just as annoying and BMGs are just a stupid idea IMO.

I don't think it needs to be mentioned that there isn't a reason to raise your Ego Level. The biggest thing you get is an extra perk. Ego Evolution VI is not interesting to me as I don't like PVP. All you people are cowards that use infectors or sawed off shotguns, and playing the same maps over and over and over until you become trusted with Echelon is just as uninteresting. And before you start flaming, yes I utilized decoy to reveal people and tried many different tactics to combat this, and frankly, it's boring

Tl;DR, I love Defiance, but I think I'm done. I'll still watch the show and enjoy it a bunch, Maybe I'll pick up the game again when there is nothing else out there or when it's dirt cheap. The mobs are fun for only so long. Add that in with one of the worst clan experiences I've ever encountered in gaming, ever, I'm ready to retire this game until they pull a Mass Effect and overhaul everything just as the fanbase is down to the hundreds.

I ran around with an AR and a Sniper rifle.

Read some of his old posts, he is a die hard sniper in all games. Now that I think about it, your posts doesn't even make sense. You will have the same chance to encounter another cloak/shotgun player......ya think because he is leaving the game, all instances will now suddenly have 1 less player in it?

To OP, play shadow wars for sniping. Come up with other weapon combos and use the semi auto sniper. There are ways to get over +100% crit. To me, figuring it out is the fun in it.

Sniping in the cloak/shotgun era is not very fun.....I know. I had to adjust away from it. However, decoy is the perk to take for it even though cloak seems right. Get up high. Pop a decoy so it goes off a ledge. Wait for people to attack it. Shoot them. If you need a quick escape just change places with it. Cloak/shottie is so easy to overcome with experience......I was going 2/7+ until I worked on getting past it. Use a BMG as second weapon for the healing ability or a courier and pumped up to get your decoy back faster. Another fun combo is sledge rocket and sniper rifle.....it will keep them in the cross hairs easier.

I have tried Decoy. It's boring. I barely use my powers in PVP.

I love Shadow Wars as well, but the same thing happens, but people can sneak up on your easier.

I FECKING HATE Semi-Autos. Completely useless.

Why don't people just leave? Why do they feel the need to announce it to a bunch of strangers?
