So damn funny! Thumbs up for gamer girls vids.
To me people are genderless in games. I do not even bother to think about it. And if a "hot-chick" ask me for my hard earned money i tell them to grind them!
Sure IRL who would not want a gamer girl that could share your end bosses and farmville xp. Someone to smoke my weed and look good and cute when i need some cuddle.
To be honest, i guess you would not find them in a game but rather out in the open IN THE REAL WORLD....
On a side note. Having a gamer girl is like being in love with your kid brother(how weird would that be?)
I was going to post something meaningful but after scrolling though 10 pages, I completely forgot what it was. So, instead, I'll just plop this here.
Possibly his fevered desire for all the girls to play Halo is just as bad as the guys he criticises' fevered desire for all the girls to be pretty gamer girls and all the depictions of girls in games to be idealised and sexualized.
People play the games they want to play, and people will make the games they want to play. Market and desire are linked, in both directions. He doesn't once mention MMOs in this diatribe, and I've met and chatted with more women in games like Lineage 2 and WoW than I have in the flesh. And I've talked to a lot of women in the flesh. But also there are games like Flyff where the character design and optional gameplay is more focused on cultivation and longevity than murder and instant/sexual gratification, which have a higher proportion of female gamers as their demographic.
That's not to say women aren't also into sexual gratification in their games. It's just that currently they are more heavily catered to by shonen-style male heroes in Japanese/Korean games than by the grizzled "man's man" heroes of most major Western games. When was the last time you heard a soldier in the single player of Call of Duty composing poetry, or playing a harp? The characters instead are grimly focused on their present, and the murder of anyone in their way. There's not even a hint of diplomacy, or peace-keeping, or reconstruction efforts. Spec Ops: The Line is one game that really exposes the one-sided, thoughtless machismo of the major shooter franchises.
Portal, by contrast, is the kind of game with a gender-free appeal. A physics puzzler with a quirky story and an intelligent, flawed adversary.
One thing that struck me in this video was the way so many of these browser games looked like the games I'd first started playing back when computers couldn't handle much more due to graphical and size constraints. These are the gateway games that develop the skills for people to enjoy a wider variety of more complex games.

Hey! I have got a very great website for you to try out. You will be able to find as much as good . The girls will surely love those games. It provides large range of games to satisfy the hunger for games for girls. Try this! Thank you.
I wish i could get a GF that likes to play video games, the thing is i havent seen a single female in my country that likes to do that, they are only interested in guys and makeup and other stuff.
I guess i have to say most here are lucky to even have gamer girls around them.
I'm soo lonely i want to cry myself to another country.
I have very few lady gamer friends they are out there, just scared of gamer guys who freak out over female voices easy ;p
I have a hard time accepting things in games that I don't have from gamers male or female. I rather die a caaantrillion times for a legendary/epic then have it handed over. i have gamed with girls just the opposite they will ask for stuff or abuse the offers from guy gamers.
Then you have the small amount of guys who don't want Girls in"their games" as i have ran into these types and recently yesterday.
Truth is everyone will see Gamer girls in a different light no matter what they do or who they know. I wish more of us would be around and open and not afraid to chat. I suck at Pvp by the way, I only did well in it on Warcraft. It does not stop me from enjoying myself and I will not ask any one to carry me during pvp I still try.
What pisses me off is when we playing a game and she goes on like a 10+ killstreak and says something like oh you boys will be boys and lol to herself or some lady comment and I'm stuck there going wtf can and could I say back to her
