Interview from a over a year ago.
    http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...irshner-332429

Interesting read i found one section especially interesting:

THR: How does the game world connect to the TV show?

Butler: In the game you start out playing with the lead character of the show and get to know him before he disappears. I would love to tell you the whole twist there because it is amazing, but I am not allowed to. The next time you see that lead character he is driving away from you and on the TV show you see him driving into the main action. There will be these constant direct crossovers in virtually every episode

Im glad that they kept to their vision here and we are seeing these direct crossovers in virtually every episode...

Im not sure how much the show tie-in with the game, I saw the 1st episode, and figured old re-runs of Family guy was more interesting to me than Defiance.

The show isnt to bad if im honest. The writing at times is very child like in the way it gets it point across but i think its wroth 45mins of my time a week.

I almost didn't make it through the first show myself. However I do have to say it's better than some of the other garbage that's on TV at the moment, but then again that's not very difficult to pull off.

If it's "Not that hard to pull off", then why aren't there more shows on TV that aren't complete garbage????

    Riddle me that, Batman!

Did I word it wrong? I was saying it's not hard to be better than the other shows on TV because they are garbage.

    Touche. Still funny though.

I do enjoy their inspiration with Macbeth. We'll see how far it goes.

Somehow I don't think it's actually an offswitch though, more like a weakness. Do you have any idea how painful it can be to hurt the lower end of the spine? Like hell, and it can be really dangerous. Possibly even the last part of a bioman where you can really inflict a large amount of pain, possible even overload whatever it is they engineered into them :P Well... until they fixed that on later models.

I don't really think about the Macbeth inspiration in the show, I just enjoy the show for what it is :)
