I'd like to do 360 video capture, but I can't decide on what hardware to get. Hauppauge doesn't seem to have one that can work without a PC nearby. I need component cable support, and want to just put a USB stick into the capture device as the recording destination.
If you are doing captures, please share how you do it...
Avermedia just put out not too long ago an independant capture device that can go from the 360 to the device, and capture an whatever format you want, then plug it into whatever you want and either download the files or stream them.Quote:

ElGato. I have both the PVR2 and ElGato and the ElGato is the way to go. I believe they recently lowered the price and it is well worth it. I stream on Twitch with it and have no issues with quality, nor do I see anyone screaming "HOLY FRAMERATE BATMAN!" in the chat.
