Can we get an official word on the lag?

Why wouldn't it? You thought maybe they sent you a code for free retail release? Maybe they owe you something cause you are so awesome?

I do find it weird that with all the reading and posting you have done on the forums that you don't have a slightly firmer grasp on the situation..... Weird.

The game releases in just over a week. If Trion cannot get the servers to handle a closed beta population, there is no way the launch servers will be able to handle a global release population. There is cause for concern if these issues persist throughout the beta.

This is what really concerns me. I mean I am not going to cancel my preorder or anything, I'm just worried that I won't be able to play it without this lag.

I am not concerned yet. Yes this is beta and yes if this was the game they launch it would be bad. Both sides in this issue have great points. But, let's wait until the last day of beta to have this discussion. Give them a chance to fix the issue. And remember as everyone has said, this is a work in progress.

Not to stir the pot or anything but am I one of the only ones who isn't experiencing HORRIBLE lag like many others are talking about?

I know a lot of people say it also has to do with your internet connection but I only have 40down and 5up so its not the best internet out there.

I see a few glitches but nothing that comes to me as a shock for the beta..

Do you live somewhere in Europe?

I am a little concerned myself.. I have been in many closed and open betas and never have I had this many problems with any of them. I died and after I was revived all the things i tried to do before i died, like cloak and switch weapons and summon vehicle and uhhh not die, happened all together at once like 5 minutes after i attempted to do them... i tried rescuing some units under attack and then everything disappeared. i understand this is beta, but really? i can't do anything but die when there is no enemies around and when i run into enemies they never die.. well almost never..

here's hoping that trion can pull off a miracle patch fix!
