    I think Sledge also mentioned something about nerfing infectors/cloak, but I can't be assed to listen to it again. I just remembered shotguns are getting the hammer, since I was overcome with such a surge of schadenfreude I could barely think straight for a few minutes.

    The problem with Cloak and Shotgun is that they remove the only weakness on one of the strongest weapon types.

    Who cares if Shotguns are only good in close range when you are invisible?

    I say add a new scope type that detects cloaked players if within X yards of you while aimed.

    This isn't going to solve the issue. Cloak is overpowered in PvP. Making everything else overpowered isn't the solution.

    Not a bad idea.. Like a heat sensor or infrared vision etc..

    Sad thing is.. People are so prone to being kited / baited, often times I wait to use my cloak after I've already killed a couple people then cloak to get out of the heat and kill a few more..

    I think the most OP thing is ANY GUN with syphon.... Been chasing a VOT Fragger with sypon for awhile to no avail.. My other best option (the one I use) is a white VOT Fragger with fire...

    But just using a crappier gun with syphon was really strong when/if it procs.

    Also.. My fire fragger would be a lot less useful if people would just roll the flames out... I get so many after dead kills when they could of saved themselves.

    Never PvP'd, but does Cloak make you completely invisible or just "Predator" invisible, like how it does for Dark Matter snipers? Also, do how about just putting cloaked players up on the mini-map/radar? It doesn't give away their exact position, but lets other people know there's a cloaked person in the general vicinity.

    A few things:

    It makes you completely invisible but not right away.. you phase to cloak and make a sound.. Yes.. you can hear people cloaking... ( I suggest using a headset so you can hear where they cloak at and shoot that direction.. )

    Bio nades / anything fire / infectors are really good for breaking people out of stealth

    You can still physically run into people that are cloaked.. I've gotten several kills like this.. by just being aware. So if you bump something when nothing is there.. pull the trigger.. throw a nade.. something..

    Take a gamble.. shoot randomly behind you sometimes, especially if you were just engaged in combat...

    What is wrong with fast / twitch based game play?

    I wish more weapons were one shot kill / did more damage. UT99 for example (My favorite Multiplayer Shooter of all time)...

    I loved the way rocket launchers worked in that game.. Could hold the fire button to load more rockets (which took some time) but would net great results... They need to think in this direction IMO.. More power but something to justify that power or limit it..

    Shock rifle from that game for example... The primary just shot a straight beam that did moderate damage.. The secondary shot a bubble that was large and moved a bit slower that did a bit more damage (if I remember right)... But that wasn't the point of it... If you shot the bubble out first then shot it with the straight beam it caused a huge explosion that could generally one shot people (not always) if caught right.

    Flak Cannon: Primary just shot shrapnel and could be spammed but did small damage unless they bounced it off the floor into your face a few times but generally easily avoided... However, the secondary fire did a lot more damage but moved much slower.. and you know you were dead when you could see a small ball with a smiley face on it coming at your face.

    STOP THE NERFING HAVE SOME FUN...

    It’s a better alternative than screwing over the majority of the game that is..PVE based. I have nothing against pvp itself, I rather enjoy it but like other posters here I’m tired of ‘hardcore’ pvpers coming into every game and demanding everything be changed to suit them.
