Limiting Legendary guns to class selection?

I'm wondering how people would feel about this. If they they made it to where you could only equip the Legendary guns that fit your character class? If they did it could open up a whole new way of tweaking end game characters. Change the Legendary guns to have really nice stats that only unlock at say 5000 ego and with purple or better mods attached?

No way would I wanna play with a char limited to a certain type of weapon. That would be a bad move overall in every way. They could have made the "class" you picked be more game orientated other than the weapon you start w/ but its not game breaking... For me atleast.

I don't really see where the class selection really mattered either. I actually picked Outlaw because it had the best outfit for my character.lol.
