My first system was the Atari 2600. I had Pac-man, Night Driver ( I think that was the name of it), and Breakthrough (out?). It wasn't until I played Lunar: Silver Star Story and Phantasy Star on the Sega Master system that I became absolutely hooked on gaming though.

I started with various versions of Odyssy, a VES, and later an Atari.. since then I lived through the bad times, and came to the good ones where there were console "wars".. Ninendo vs. sega.. while sega always promoted faster games, and more defined lines, and better audio processing, the NES systems boasted a superior color palette and smoother controls, along with a significantly higher and diverse library.

for systems.. I still have my old TSR-80, with 4 disk drives, modem, dot matrix printer and the silly keyboard with the "encryption" switch, hahaha. but today I am doing well in that department (see sig).

<--old school gamer.. old enough I got to play a session of good old paper crack with Gygax himself (R.I.P.).

OG Nintendo Entertainment System, favorite game would be Xenophobe. It was hard to pick just one, but that's the game I can safely admit to spending the most time on, perfecting gaming strategies and feeling truly fulfilled when I beat it.

Edit: Had to go back and include a shout-out to Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland. Oh boy did I love that gameplay.
